Dating a Drama Queen from Eharmony

About a year ago, a co-worker signed me up for eharmony to help me find dates as it’s difficult to meet young ladies in the small town, GA where I live. The second girl I got around to arranging a face to face date with was a college student, a couple of years younger than me, but seemed to have a lot of the same interests as me – she was a math major and loved baseball. I’m an engineer and a huge baseball fan, too.

Anyway, I was to meet Bree at Chili’s on a Thursday evening, and I specifically said I would not go inside until she arrived. It was late March so the weather out was nice. I got there 10 minutes early so I played around on my iphone while waiting. Several people walk by but I apparently wasn’t paying much attention, and 20 minutes later, I called Bree to see where she is, and she’s in the restaurant crying because I didn’t stop her on the way in. Really, I was the only guy sitting on a bench outside the restaurant and that’s where we agreed to meet, so why couldn’t she approach me? At this point I should have just given up on her – someone that’s this much of a drama queen couldn’t really be worth my time. But she’s incredibly cute and really fun to talk to on the phone so I decided to give her another chance.

We talked more later that evening and later on agreed to go to a Mercer baseball game. She was all excited about it and was texting me all day about how she was looking forward to hanging out with me. Then she “had to babysit longer than expected.” And after babysitting, she made up some other excuse for still not joining me or having a late dinner with me.

So, I gave her another chance. Cooking is one of my strong points, so I decided I’ll cook whatever she wants for her next Friday. I asked her what she would like. She wanted a chicken and strawberry pie. Not chicken with strawberry pie for dessert, but chicken and strawberry together in a pie. As a man of my word, that’s what I made, and it was delicious. After dinner, she threw another tantrum, took the left over pie, and I never saw her again.

So funny! A drama queen would make a very high maintenance parter. E-Harmony is usually a great source and my friend Sara has had her best dates through that site.. They match her up realy well. I am going to put a link to your hub on my dating hub. Feel free to put my link on yours too. I've found people really flocking to these hubs.. I've found that many enjoy dating stories.
